I stayed at a total of 12 hotels and went on over 20 excursions. Despite the challenges the country was facing, I was well taken care of the entire time.

We recently went on a bird watching tour of Sri Lanka which was organized by Starron Tours. We had an amazing 16 days seeing many parts of this diverse and intriguing country. The bird life alone was worth coming for, but when you add elephants, leopards and monkeys it is just a great experience. We had the best Sri Lankan bird guide with us and we saw a total of 248 species including all but 2 of the 34 endemics. The accommodation was excellent and the food a taste sensation – just ate far too much! Our driver and his off-sider were exceptional and we always felt safe in the often chaotic traffic conditions. A bonus was they even found some birds for us! We went on a number of jeep safaris in the National Parks and that added to the experience. All the arrangements went without a hitch and they even organized near-perfect weather for us! We highly recommend Starron Tours.

From my experience, regardless of what you read or hear about Sri Lanka you must go and explore this wonderful, beautiful, diverse country yourself. Until you are there you don’t realise the range of influences that have made Sri Lanka the country it is today. The people, the countryside, the hospitality is just wonderful. Even though we only travelled or saw a quarter of the country we had the best time . Everywhere we went there was something that amazed us. Some of the highlights for me were the friends we made, the staff in the hotels. The Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, Temple of the Tooth and the countryside on the way to Nuwaraeliya. A big factor why we had such a great trip was because of Starron Tours who organised the trip for us, every person who played a part in our trip was great esp. our driver, his professionalism and knowledge was fantastic and that he was an excellent driver. Starron made us feel very safe and that we were their number one client at all times which was amazing. We are looking forward to travelling to Sri Lanka again with Starron in the near future to discover what other hidden treasures Sri Lanka has for us. I would highly recommend Sri Lanka as a must do experience.

After a great week on the Maldives we have enjoyed also an outstanding tour with Starron Tours. We think that the itinerary – although partially quite tight – was having a very good balance of culture, nature, animals, people.The selected hotels were nice and some even outstanding (the evaluation should have been forewarded to you). Harsha was able to put a great tour together in a very short time and despite short prenotice, following and including all our individual wishes and understanding the dynamics of such a tour. With Sanath as our driver and tourguide you have appointed an outstanding person for our tour. On the safari tours he was a great animal-spotter, even seeing a small grey chameleon on a grey stone when the car drove by that stone. This was really unbelievable. We have now experienced Sri Lanka and we loved it and hope that the country and the people will have a great future! Thanks a lot for all the arrangements and efforts to make us happy
