Day 1

Colombo

Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport. You will be greeted by your chauffeur guide / national guide upon arrival. Thereafter you will be transferred to Colombo (approximately 01 hours’ drive). In the evening, enjoy a city tour in Colombo with some shopping stops.
Dinner & overnight stay in Colombo.

Day 2

Wilpattu

Breakfast at the hotel. Thereafter you will be transferred to Wilpattu (approximately 03 ½ hours’ drive). In the evening, proceed on a jeep safari in Wilpattu National Park which is both the oldest and largest national park to see a range of tropical of water birds and wildlife.
Dinner & overnight stay in Wilpattu.

Day 3

Habarana

After a leisurely breakfast, you will be transferred to Habarana (approximately 01 ½ hours’ drive). In the late afternoon, take a jeep safari ride to Minneriya National Park to see the biggest gathering of Asian elephants in the world.

Day 4

Habarana

With an early breakfast, climb the world-famous Sigiriya Rock Fortress which is an option for you to spend the morning hours. Whether you are keen on art and history or not, a visit to Sigiriya is ideal for all to see the breath-taking views. In the afternoon, explore the sacred city of Polonnaruwa, Sri Lanka’s splendid medieval capital which was established as the second kingdom of the land in the 11th Century, A.D.

Day 5

Kandy

After a leisurely breakfast, you will be transferred to Kandy (approximately 03 hours’ drive), the ancient city revolves around a large manmade lake, set amidst a high plateau and is surrounded with a beautiful view of lush mountain ranges. En-route, visit the Dambulla Cave Temple which is the largest and best-preserved cave temple complex in Sri Lanka. In the evening, visit the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic which houses the sacred tooth relic of the Lord Buddha.   Dinner & overnight stay in Kandy.

Day 6

Kandy

After an early breakfast, get a feel of the life in a typical village in addition to trekking and sight-seeing and a culinary experience in true Sri Lankan style at Heeloya which is a rural, remote agricultural village with a unique attraction of understanding how justice was meted out in the good old days. In the evening, witness the Kandy Esala Perahera (Pageant), which is the most vibrant and colorful religious pageant of Asia.   Dinner & overnight stay in Kandy.

Day 7

Negombo

After a leisurely breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to Negombo (approximately 03 hours’ drive), which is more affectionately known as the “Little Rome” of Sri Lanka and is a romantic little coastal town. In the evening, proceed on a lagoon boat trip memorable down with the Hamilton Canal, which was originally constructed by the Dutch and later fortified by the British in 1802, being named after Gavin Hamilton.   Dinner & overnight stay in Negombo.

Day 8

Departure

After breakfast, leave for Bandaranaike International Airport (approximately 30 minutes’ drive) for your departure flight. You can reflect upon the numerous memories you would have no doubt acquired throughout this exciting tour.
