Day 01: Negombo - Dambulla - Habarana
  • Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) and meet your Starron Tours representative.
  • Visit the Dambulla Cave Temple — a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its unique sculptures and the largest mural paintings in Sri Lanka.
  • Check in to the hotel and enjoy a guided Bird Trail in and around the hotel, observing native birds and learning their calls and habits.
  • Relax at the hotel and enjoy the call of a monkey and the song of a bird.

Day 02 : Habarana - Sigiriya
  • After breakfast, climb Sigiriya Rock Fortress — an 8th wonder of the world, famous for its ancient frescoes of maidens bearing flowers amidst wilderness and ancient ruins.
  • Afternoon Sigiriya Village Tour — an excursion through the countryside along mud-thatched huts, flourishing paddy fields, streamlets, rivers, and crystal-clear springs.
  • Optional: Pidurangala Hike / Manewakanda Hike

Day 03: Habarana – Matale – Kandy
  • After breakfast, proceed to Kandy via Matale Spice Gardens — home to the exotic spices that stirred the interest of many nations since time immemorial.
  • Visit the Muthumariamman Temple (Arulmigu Sri Muthumari Amman Kovil) — a Hindu temple dedicated to Mariamman, the goddess of rain and fertility.

Day 04: Kandy – Nuwara Eliya – Kandy
  • After breakfast, proceed to Nuwara Eliya — dubbed the 'Little England of Sri Lanka', set in the thick misty hills with a preserved colonial atmosphere, rose gardens, hedges, and red-roofed bungalows.
  • Visit a Ceylon Tea plantation and learn about Sri Lanka's world-renowned tea production.
  • Evening visit to the Gadaladeniya Temple — famous for its beautiful stone carvings and a perfect example of glorious ancient Sri Lankan architecture and craftsmanship.

Day 05: Kandy – Peradeniya – Colombo
  • After breakfast, begin the return journey towards Colombo.

  • Visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage (13 km northwest of Kegalle) — a must-visit experience and one of the most unforgettable moments of this journey.
